Nodes · Member Onboarding

You’re in. Here’s your first 48 hours.

Welcome to the flagship. This walkthrough tells you exactly what happens from the moment you subscribe: what you do, what the engine does, what you’ll see in your account, and — just as important — what’s NORMAL versus what deserves a message to support. No surprises, no guesswork.

The honest expectation

Quiet is not broken.

The engine trades when conditions qualify — not to look busy. Some hours it works constantly; some days it waits. Discipline you can watch is the product.

Hours 0–1

Confirm, fund, connect

Subscription confirmed

You’ll receive confirmation with your onboarding link. Your plan details and minimums live on the Nodes page — always the source of truth.

Fund YOUR trading account

Move USDC from your own Arbitrum wallet (the one you built in Academy Guide 3) into the trading account that belongs to you alone. Our money never mixes with yours because ours is never there.

Grant the agent key

The onboarding flow walks you through creating and authorizing the trade-only key click by click. Two minutes, one grant — and remember: you can revoke it any time, in seconds.

Hours 1–24

What the engine does first

Once the key is live, the engine reads your account size and the current market state, then begins placing its working orders when conditions qualify. What you may see: a ladder of small orders appearing in your account, early small fills, positions opening at modest size. What you may ALSO see: very little — if the market regime is hostile, the engine holds fire, and that restraint is the discipline you are paying for. An engine that trades every hour regardless of conditions is a fee machine, not a strategy.

What you’ll see in your account

👀

Open orders

The engine’s working ladder, visible live in your own account. Nothing is hidden — you see every order it places, the moment it places it.

Fills & positions

Executions appear as they happen with exact prices and sizes. Your venue account is the permanent, unfakeable record.

📈

Balance & P&L

Judge results from your OWN balance over real time-frames — that number is the only scoreboard that matters, and it’s one nobody can dress up.

🔑

The key itself

Your permissions page lists the agent grant. Knowing exactly where the kill switch lives is part of onboarding — go look at it once.

The judgment call

Normal vs. worth a message

🟢

NORMAL: quiet periods

Hours or even days of low activity in hostile regimes. The engine is selective by design — waiting IS a position.

🟢

NORMAL: small losses

Individual losing trades inside risk limits are part of every real strategy that has ever existed. Judge the season, not the inning.

🔴

MESSAGE US: total silence

No orders, no activity of any kind for 48+ hours across active market conditions — worth a ticket so we can check your grant together.

🔴

MESSAGE US: anything unrecognized

An order type or behavior you don’t understand? Ask. Explaining the engine’s behavior is part of the service, not a favor.

Member craft

Three habits of members who do well

Don’t micro-watch

Checking every hour turns discipline into anxiety. The engine doesn’t need supervision; give it real time-frames.

Judge in weeks, not evenings

Any single day is noise. The strategy’s character shows over weeks of varied market conditions — that’s the honest evaluation window.

Know your kill switch

You hold total control. Members who’ve located the revoke button once never feel trapped — because they never are.

One more time, in writing.

Automated trading carries market risk. The engine removes custody risk and emotional risk — the market keeps its own. Fund with capital you can put at risk, start at a size that lets you sleep, scale on evidence from your own account.

Questions before your first week ends?

The Helpdesk answers with humans, the Academy answers in depth, and your own account answers with facts. You have all three.
